JOB ADVERT: WORKSHOP MANAGER – MIDDELBURG FORD

A job opportunity exists for a Workshop Manager position at our Middelburg Ford Dealership.

We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious, and well-presented individual to join our team.

Responsibilities: (This is not an exhaustive list)
• Required to achieve CSI criteria as a minimum.
• Achieve targeted departmental gross profits and nett profits and monthly benchmarks.
• Complete and hand in all relevant reporting and documentation to manufacturer timeously.
• Check the Daily Operations Control schedule (DOC) on a daily basis.
• Spot check vehicles and previous days job cards daily (in line with Manufacturer’s specifications).
• Do daily check with Warranty Clerk on warranty status and personally responsible for warranty write off.
• Do daily check on Work-In-Progress and Cash Outstanding.
• Check ALL invoices on a daily basis.
• Check all cash outstanding.
• Planning, organizing and monitoring of workshop staff training on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Give top priority to the customer complaints of all franchises.
• Liaise with problem customers.

Knowledge, skills, experience and personal attributes:
• Minimum of 3 years’ Workshop Manager experience.
• Must have a Masters Technician experience.
• Problem solving skills.
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve goals.
• Customer care.
• Ability to motivate the service department effectively and positively·
• Strategic planning and development of the service department to ensure ongoing profitability.
• Strong technical skills.
• Computer literate.

Qualifications:
• Grade 12 Matric and relevant post Matric qualification
