DMO off-road hybrid system
The BYD SHARK 6 combines an AWD plug-in hybrid architecture with BYD’s DMO off-road platform. Its longitudinal electric hybrid system, Cell-to-Chassis construction and long-travel double-wishbone suspension are designed to improve rigidity, comfort and stability, while delivering a combined driving range of up to 800 km.
Hybrid performance and real utility
A hybrid-specific 1.5-litre turbo engine works with the BYD Blade Battery to produce 321 kW and 650 Nm. The SHARK 6 also offers a 2,500 kg braked towing capacity, giving the double cab the power and practicality needed for work, travel and weekend adventure.
Adventure-ready comfort and safety
Gravel, Mud and Sand terrain modes are supported by Hill Hold Control, Hill Descent Control, Vehicle Dynamic Control and intelligent braking. Inside, the SHARK 6 adds seven airbags, child-presence detection, front and rear cross-traffic alert with braking, a rotating 15.6-inch touchscreen on the Premium model, wireless charging, V2L capability and a 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system.
